It's hard to believe that this season of Wii bowling is completed. Thank you to all who competed! I hope that you had lots of fun! I realize that we didn't have any theme weeks or other exciting additions, and I apologize. It was kind of an off year for everyone. I found myself chasing people down for scores on a weekly basis, and the thought of adding additional requirements to that was overwhelming. Hopefully next year everyone will be on board again, and ready to mix it up!
And now... on to our CHAMPIONS!
Your Novice champ is: LORI
Your Advanced champ is: CHERYL
Your Pro champ is: JOE
Excellent job, everyone! Until next year....

Nearing the End
Week 5 has come and gone. Only one week left of regulation bowling before the tournament begins. The air is thick with excitement! (or maybe that's just humidity) It seems that many of our bowlers are really finding our stride - just in time for the tourney!
Joe led the week with an impressive 278. He remains tied with his wife Kate for the average lead with 266. I have a feeling things will be tense in their household in the coming weeks! :-)
Amber scored an amazing 243 - including a 7 pack. WOW! Way to go, Amber!
Sarah almost hit 200 - bowling a 194! Excellent job!
Tom was sad that he's having a hard time breaking 180, but I think he's forgotten the 194 and 204 he posted earlier this season. Hang in there, Tom - you're doing great!
Noah bowled a 181, which is awesome! He was a late entry to the league, so his average isn't really reflective of the great bowling he's done.
I'm very proud of the great improvement our bowlers have shown. Please get these Week 6 scores into me soon! After I receive all of the scores, I will send out the usual update, then send a separate email with the tournament instructions.
Have fun this week!

Week 4
Well, we're back to being slow at getting the scores in, but people are tearing it up on the (virtual) lanes! Three of our bowlers posted a 200+ score for the first time in the tournament!
Hollie had a 224, Sherri had 222, and Amber bowled 206! Way to go, ladies!

Adrienne led the week with an impressive 246! People are really closing the gaps in the standings. Only two weeks left to bowl to determine your tournament position. This is serious stuff, folks! :-)
Have a great week, and be sure to get your scores in ASAP!

Week 3
Great week, everyone! First of all, you all got your scores to me on time. YAY! Thank you. Let's keep it up!
We had many people bowl over 200 this week. Kate and Joe led the pack once again, scoring 269 and 268 respectively. They are tied for first place with 272.
Even with the flu, Adrienne managed a 248. Impressive! Cheryl and Roger had a great week, each posting a personal record. Way to go!
Sharon had her highest score of the tournament with a 227, while Carter threw down a 214. Charlotte posted a 205 and Tom had a 204.
What a stellar week!
To the rest of our participants, hang in there and keep bowling! The regular season is just a tune-up for the big show - THE TOURNAMENT! Keep practicing and you just might take home a trophy.
